July Soup and Wine Pairing

We canceled our monthly First Wednesday Wine Pairing Dinner for July because it fell on the evening before the 4th of July. However, Chef Michelle thought it would be fun to teach a class about pairing summer soups with wines. In this class you'll make three courses of soup and then taste them with wines. While you cook, Michelle will give you various soup-making tips, as well as fun ways to top your soup and ways to make them vegan. She'll also offer tips for how to make your own stock at home with things you would usually compost or toss in the garbage.
Appetizer: Sweet Street Corn Soup with queso fresco, cilantro, and red pepper coulis: Paired with Chardonnay
Entree: A fan favorite: Carrot Coconut Lime with toasted chickpea and cumin yogurt: Paired with Sauvignon Blanc
Dessert: Chilled Peach with fresh made goat cheese and house crouton: Paired with Rosé
.Beer and Wine will be available for purchase. All class participants must be 21 or older.
